Earthy Minimal Boutique Hotels

Method Co Joins Stokes Architecture + Design on the Quoin Hotel

Philadelphia-based design studio Stokes Architecture + Design works in collaboration with Method Co. on the design of the Quoin hotel in Wilmington, Delaware. The boutique hotel boasts minimal design elements and is inspired by the region's visual aesthetic whilst being infused with modern decor that has been handmade.

Overall, it has an earthy tonal palette and the hotel is home to 24 luxury guest rooms and suites that are decorated with vintage furniture and restored architectural accents. When guests first arrive at the hotel, they are welcomed by a reception area that is detailed with floral wallpaper and metallic gold contrasting against a custom-made credenza with modern colors. This then leads to retail spaces to the left and an additional lobby and cafe to the right.
