Saturated Tonal Maximalist Hotels

Atelier Ochre and House of Dré Design the New Locke Hotel

Local studios Atelier Ochre and House of Dré join forces on the interior design of the Locke Hotels defined by warm saturated colors and maximalist themes. It takes over a Victorian mansion block located in West London's Kensington neighborhood. The Ember Locke hotel is meant to celebrate the area and its historic architecture.

Founder of Atelier Ochre Pauline Dellemotte tells Dezeen, "We wanted to create interiors that are an extension and interpretation of the neighborhood, a space that reflects the cultural heritage of Kensington but also somewhere that shows the area's evolution over time. We wanted to delve into the world of bold patterns, rich colours, eclectic furniture and art deco details, to tap into the sense of opulence that once dominated the Kensington scene."
