The earl grey quinoa oatmeal features a homemade pumpkin spice puree made out of a roasted butternut squash, pumpkin pie spice mix, salt and either a pitted medjool date or maple syrup. The steel cut oats are prepared with water, quinoa, an earl grey tea bag, salt and milk. You can also sprinkle some pumpkin seeds and pecans on top for added flavor and a crunchy texture.
The result is a hearty breakfast that is sure to get your day off on the right foot.
