Controversial Ginger Makeovers

The 'Put a Rang on It' Tumblr Envisions Celebrities as Redheads

Put a Rang on It is a Tumblr site that's getting a lot of attention recently -- and not just the good kind. Created by Australian ad creative Nadia Ahmad, it's only natural that a site named after a derogatory term for redheads would come under heat. Yet Ahmad maintains that she isn't anti-ginger. Instead, the blog is meant to be another fun way to view such public figures as Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and Robert Downey Jr..

Although some of them look drastically different, it's interesting to note that the imaginary makeovers featured on Put a Rang on It aren't that jarring. Although shocking, some of the celebrities arguably look better as redheads. That even goes for Morgan Freeman, who's freckles work with the look.
