Salt & Straw Now Sells Ice Cream for Dogs Called Pup Cups

The Portland-based ice cream purveyor Salt & Straw is already known for its unusual flavors and now the brand is pushing things even further with a new innovation: a line of ice cream for dogs called Pup Cups.
Salt & Straw's new Pup Cups are dairy-free frozen treats made specifically for dogs. The brand's first-ever flavor is Apple & Carrots with Sweet Potato Ribbons, which features a coconut ice cream base with pieces of apple and carrots studded throughout and a swirl of sweet potato.
The new Pup Cups will officially debut on Friday, August 26, which also happens to be National Dog Day. The treats will be available in Salt & Straw shops, for local pickup and delivery, as well as for nationwide shipping.
