The Pully is a new piece of cycling hardware from Vela that gives riders a simple and reliable way to safely use their smartphones' features while cycling. The mount uses magnets to firmly attach smartphones to bicycle handlebars, allowing cyclists to access things like mapping apps while they ride.
Pully uses magnets, but Vela assures users that the system will cause no damage to modern smartphones. Though magnets were once anathema to electronics, any smartphones designed since 2012 have been built to handle magnetic fields.
Perhaps the biggest benefit of Pully over other handlebar phone mounts is its sleek size. While other phone mounts are large and require complex straps and locks to attach, Pully is smaller that most bicycle bells, and riders can use its flexible elastic strap to attach it and detach it as often as they please.
