Continuing its tradition of serving up strange and innovative food products, the 2016 Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) will be offering pulled pork cinnamon rolls alongside other unusual treats.
The 2016 CNE menu will offer a medley of desserts and entrees ranging from insect-topped hot dogs to philly cheesesteak eclairs. However, the pulled pork cinnamon rolls from Howie's Cinnamon Rolls are creating some of the most buzz. The sweet and savory treat consists of a warm cinnamon bun topped with tender pulled pork and drizzled in a sweet icing sugar frosting. For those looking for even more meat-infused pastries, the vendor will also be selling cinnamon rolls made with bacon and whole hog.
While the CNE's newest dish may not be vegetarian-friendly, it caters to the growing demand for outrageous food products.
