'100 Years of Beauty' is series that was created by WatchCut Video to show how appearance ideals have changed over time in different cultures -- with Episode 22 showcasing Puerto Rican women.
Like others with in the series, each look within the video is modeled by a single person, working to show how different time periods would alter her style. Beginning in 1910, WatchCut Video reveals the modest make-up and hairstyles of Puerto Rican women and compares them to those who made New York city their home. As the video continues, viewers see how Puerto Rican women have adapted over an expansive time frame.
