Before the time of digital photography, the only way that people could see their photos as soon as they took them was with the use of instant cameras from the like of Polaroid or Fujifilm, and though instant image assessment is a given today, the Prynt Pocket is a device that brings back that nostalgic analog technology. The device attaches to iPhones and provides a glossy printout of the images take with the smartphone camera.
Not only does the Prynt Pocket print out hard copies of users' snaps, but it also comes with an app that includes photo editing effects, and users can apply these effects to their physical prints before the Prynt Pocket delivers them. Further, the app can embed videos into the images, and when someone uses the app to scan that photo, they can watch the encoded video.
