Monster Prom Photography

This Prom Photo Series Uses Iconic Monsters to Portray Insecurities

Prom is one of the scariest things most teens go though during their high school years, which is clearly evident in this hilarious prom photo series.

Taking on different issues teens feel uncomfortable with during high school -- and want to hide before they go to prom -- the 'Monster Prom' series highlights insecurities and anxieties in a funny and cartoonish way using reimagined iconic monsters.

Captured by horror photographer Joshua Hoffline, the prom photo series is styled after the stereotypical 80s prom portraits -- but instead of a young boy with braces is Dracula with fangs obscured by braces.

The 'Monster Prom' series was commissioned by Sony UK to showcase their new full-frame Sony A7 camera.
