Prizm is a unique musing-streaming device that selects music based on the individual tastes of which particular listener happens to be in the room. It is even capable of deciding what kind of music is appropriate for the specific activity taking place in the room.
Prizm's Chief Technology Officer Arthur Eberhardt describes the product as bringing together "the simplicity of a radio and the richness of a streaming services to ultimately enhance the music experience."
The device can be connected to any powered speakers via a 3.5-millimeter stereo jack or even via Bluetooth. It is capable of connecting to users' Spotify, Deezer or SoundCloud accounts, all via WiFi.
Users can even notify the device if the music it selects isn't quite working. That information is stored in a so-called Prizm profile that helps the device make better decisions next time.
