Hungarian Catholic priest Zoltan Lendvai is using his skateboarding skills to help people bring closer to God. Father Lendvai was inspired by the 19th century Italian priest and educator Saint John Bosco, who used to educate people through games.
Father Lendvai learned to skateboard when he was a teenager and he believes that his special skills can encourage youngsters to go to the church. Priest Zoltan Lendvai has already set an example with his interesting preaching style, as he encouraged three youngsters to go to church who had never attended service before. A video has been posted on YouTube showcasing Lendvai’s skateboarding skills and it has become a sensation overnight.
