Comical Politician Candles

Candle brand Wildfang has put together a series of religious votives that celebrate the current U.S. presidential candidates with a series of illustrations that portray the personalities are religious figures. The candle designs parody the various political parties by drawing parallels between the politicians and their powerful roles in modern society.

The Politicicandles are available in two slices, celebrating either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. Both candles are designed to look like traditional prayer candles with a long cylinder glass holder wrapped with an angelic illustration that depicts either Clinton as a nun or Sanders as a priest. The candles are designed in the style of ancient religious icons with a focus on golden detailing and cursive typography. The candles also feature either 'Saint Bernie' or 'Saint Hillary' written on the base.
