The NODE 'Trillium' prefab backyard cottage has been designed by the Seattle-based startup as an architectural solution for urban areas where space is becoming increasingly limited. The cottage comes in four floor plan options that all feature a kitchen and a bathroom with a varying number of bedrooms to help them be seamlessly integrated into any small urban location.
The cottages are reported to be a more cost-effective alternative to conventional constructions and are outfitted with solar panels on the roof, modern finishes, energy efficient systems and much more. The buildings are positioned as Detached Accessory Dwelling Units (DADU) that are ideal as a guest house or even a vacation home.
The NODE 'Trillium' prefab backyard cottage boasts a modern design and speaks to the changing needs of urban consumers in the face of rising housing costs.
