KFC Brings Back Its Popcorn Chicken

Kentucky Fried Chicken has officially brought back its Popcorn Chicken to menus nationwide after more than three years of sustained consumer demand. While the item initially disappeared from the lineup in 2023, KFC noted that relentless fan feedback through comments, direct messages, and online petitions was the driving force behind the decision to bring it back.

The Popcorn Chicken first introduced in the early 1990s, is described as a crunchy, snackable bite-sized chicken offering, and is available in three configurations — a 16-ounce bucket designed for sharing at $10, a Big Box combination including tenders, fries, a drink, and a cookie for $10.99, and a combo meal with fries and a drink for $8.49.

The brand has also partnered with GIPHY to release a collection of exclusive Popcorn Chicken GIFs featuring the Colonel.
