Glazed Waterless Swimming Pools

Nobuo Araki Updates the Pool Aoyama for Better Use

The Pool Aoyama has received a serious upgrade by architect Nobuo Araki. The space was previously used as a swimming area for the residences of the apartment building, but had since been forgotten about. Araki decided to keep as much of the original structure in place as possible, but where the pool had once been, he added in a glazed glass structure so that people could walk over the area.

The space is now used for a fashion brand, who can display its products in style. Clients can come in and have that added sense of luxury when stepping on the glass-glazed flooring, and also observe the products in a much more open space. Ample light is also able to get in, which should help to illuminate the items even more.
