Clever Air Pollution Installations

Pollution Pods Highlight the Effects of Air Pollution

Artist Michael Pinsky's has created one of his most thought-provoking installations to date, with a new piece entitled Pollution Pods. The piece is on display at London’s Somerset House and consists of five different rooms, with five different levels of air quality. Each room represents the air quality of a different city including London, Beijing, São Paulo, New Delhi and Tautra. With the help of atmospheric chemistry experts, guests of this exhibit will be able to experience and breathe the air from these five different cities, without having to leave London.

The installation is set to open on April 22 to coincide with Earth Day. Pollution Pods hopes to warn guests of the effects of air pollution.
