The Pocket Spacecraft plans to let you explore the cosmos from the comfort of your own home. Using a miniscule disc-like ship, you can hitch a ride to the moon and be involved every step of the way. Included with the ship is a smartphone app that lets you track your ship's voyage from design and construction to moon landing.
Pocket Spacecraft is able to provide this amazing feat of personal lunar exploration at a low price by using a mothership to bring everyone's ship to the moon. An 'Interplanetary CubeSat Mothership' will be placed on a commercial rocket where it will be brought into space. After the mothership arrives, the Pocket Spacecraft will be released and photographed. Throughout the entire journey, you will be able to monitor your ship and receive data from the miniature spacecraft's onboard instruments.
