Dog-Friendly Driving Playlists

Skoda Curated a Playlist for Dogs to Soothe Car Anxiety

Based on its own research that says 6 in 10 dogs experience car anxiety and 75% of owners admit that their dog’s behavior distracts them when driving, car manufacturer Skoda complied a calming playlist for dogs. The Happy Hounds playlist also serves the purpose of announcing Skoda’s sponsorship of Crufts 2023.

This Spotify playlist for dogs was created with the expert help of canine behaviorist Anna Webb, who says, "Emulating the heartbeat is thought by science to offer a calming effect. Small dogs and puppies normally have heart rates of 120 to 160 beats per minute. These songs work as they are not heavy metal or similar genres which is known to disturb sleep patterns in dogs."
