Tim Hortons Canada Now Lets Chicken Eggs Be Replaced with JUST Egg

Tim Hortons recently added Beyond Meat’s meatless sausage breakfast sandwiches to its menu and it is also planning to expand its plant-based breakfast food options with an entirely plant-based egg option. While there are plenty of vegetarian consumers who eat eggs, and happily do so on their breakfast sandwiches, others who follow a strict vegan or plant-based eating protocol opt for eggless options. This new offering from Tim Hortons, prepared with the JUST Egg, is set to help meet the demand for plant-based protein sources.

Select Tim Hortons locations in Canada will be substituting regular chicken eggs for the vegan-friendly JUST Egg, which is prepared entirely from plant-powered ingredients like mung beans. If successful, the chain has stated that it may even "consider expanding plant-based options into other menu items."
