Plant-Based Deli Sandwiches

Quiznos is Testing a New Plant-Based Corned Beef Sandwich in Denver

Quiznos is the latest fast food brand to experiment with faux meats with the debut of its new Plant-Based Corned Beef Sandwich.

To give consumers more meat-free options, Quiznos teamed up with Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli. Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Deli offers a plant-based version of deli meat and the brand's signature product is its Unreal Corned Beef. Quiznos has begun experimenting with the Unreal Corned Beef by pairing it with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, pickles, and honey French dressing on fresh Quiznos bread.

The Plant-Based Corned Beef Sandwich will be tested out at select test locations in Denver, Colorado to gauge consumer interest. As Sheila Zimmerman of the REGO Restaurant Group (the owner of Quiznos) explains, "Given consumers’ growing desire for meatless options and the rise of plant-based foods, we wanted to test this modern twist on a deli classic here in Denver where sustainable green lifestyles are thriving."
