Asda's First Own-Label Plant-Based Burger Patties Cost £1.50

Specialty vegan products have a tendency to be on the expensive side, but British supermarket retailer Asda is introducing affordable packs of its first-ever own-label plant-based burger patties.

The new vegan burger range has been fully accredited by the Vegan Society and features vegetable-packed meat alternatives that can be cooked straight from the freezer. While there are plenty of soy and imitation meat burger patties available to consumers, Asda's range first and foremost champions vegetables with unique flavors like Edamame Asparagus & Mint and Beetroot & Spinach. At select stores and online, these plant-based burger patties are available for £1.50 a pack.

Asda's expanded plant-based range also includes Butternut Squash, Sweet Potato & Red Pepper Sausages, Mushroom & Kale Sausages and Sweet Potato Falafels.
