Sports fans are often at risk of getting beer spilled on them amidst the highs and lows of the game's excitement, and with this in mind, Heineken created a protective Pint-cho. The beer brand worked with Amsterdam-based designer rainwear brand Rainkiss to develop this protective piece of apparel, which takes the form of a lightweight, beer-resistant poncho that keeps clothes dry.
There are several versions of the Pint-cho available for sports fans, including one in Heineken green and another in a retro kit-inspired white version with blue and red shoulder stripes. Beyond providing full-body coverage, the poncho design includes a toggle and drawstring system for comfortable adjustments.
The beer-proof ponchos launched just in time for England’s second group qualifying game against Denmark.
