Hop supplier Yakima Chief Hops, in cooperation with the Pink Boots Society, has released a new annual hop blend. This launch was specifically curated to generate financial support for educational and career development programs aimed at women and non-binary professionals within the brewing and fermentation industries.
Yakima Chief Hops' 9th Annual Pink Boots Blend brings together the Ekuanot®, Centennial, HBC 638, and Mosaic® hop varieties. These have been selected to produce a flavor profile that blends tropical citrus and stone fruit notes with herbal and woody accents. This palette is complemented by a soft undertone of white tea and cedar.
Yakima Chief Hops is donating a portion of the revenue of its 9th Annual Pink Boots Blend to the nonprofit organization to fund scholarships and training initiatives.
