Nirvana Buttercup is a Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale

— September 2, 2025 — Lifestyle
Nirvana Buttercup has been launched by the brand as an alcohol-free beer option that's crafted thoughtfully to achieve a flavorful final product without a high ABV. The beer comes in with a 0.5% ABV and is reported to have a bold aroma that's bursting with tropical flavors including peach, lychee and citrus to give it a satisfying profile in every sip. The beer is branded with the artwork of Leyton artist Carl Stimpson and is inspired by the Powerful Girls cartoon series with its name being a nod to one of the main characters.

Founder and Brand Ambassador Becky Kean commented on Nirvana Buttercup saying, "We’ve settled on a core range of beers that cover all the most popular styles – and successfully so, given recent awards such as the gold for our IPA. However, with developments in both yeasts and hops for low/no brewing and the work being done by the likes of TNS, there’s always room for some ‘specials’.”
