Amazon is Installing Physical Pickup Points on College Campuses

In an effort to reach more college-aged customers, Amazon has begun installing physical pickup points at select college campuses. Not only do these pickup stations make it easier for students to order from the ecommerce giant, but they also make Amazon Student and Amazon Prime memberships more appealing to those in college.

Amazon's pickup points are fully-staffed spaces on campus where students can drop in to pick up their Amazon order or make returns. In addition to serving as a convenient place for collecting ecommerce orders, students can also take advantage of special offers such as free one-day pickup for delivery orders placed by 10pm.

With pickup points already installed at Purdue University, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Akron and more, it is clear that Amazon is on a mission to make its services more convenient for college students.
