This is my idea of a city guide: Mr Means took his camera out to the erm: more 'lively' aspects of the New York scene, and the resulting photographs are truly brilliant.
Not only are the images drenched in more glitter than your average sugar plum fairy, but they are also really strong portraits in their own right. These photographs capture the attitude and style of the scene, without giving too much away.
Implications - **You hit on a lot of point here, but it's important to just focus on one. Try answering this question:
Is this trend widely accepted and will big or small businesses benefit from this?
Consumers are naturally curious about things that they aren't necessarily familiar with. This pattern is surfacing because of people's needs to satisfy their curiosity and desire to know more and be more worldly. The Internet has granted people access to these things and now consumers wish to seek them on their own. Businesses can take advantage of this by creating their own products or ideas that are out-of-the box.
