Move over Little Red Riding Hood, for Philippe Starck has designed a new and improved version of your infamous cloak.

We recently brought you the news that restaurant and furniture designer Philippe Starck would be collaborating with cashmere company Ballantyne. The line has 30 pieces each for men and women and range from jackets to lighter garments.

Implications - By recreating what was once old you are able to reach both a generation that remembers what it used to be and also a generation that has yet to discover what it can be. Updating classic styles is a way for fashion designers to explore new techniques and materials while maintaining a connection to the contemporary looks.
