BU is a smart personal hydration system that’s designed to help you stay healthy and hydrated on a daily basis. BU was created by two Montreal-based agencies, ALTO Design and w.illi.am/, that decided to tackle developing an intuitive hydration system together. The hydration system consists of a sensor and light-embedded glass and an app, which reminds you to drink and keeps track of when you do.
BU lets you set daily goals and the app will gently nudge you to take a few more sips to get back on track if you’ve fallen behind. By looking at a calendar view, you can also track your long-term progress. With the product development side of BU finished, the next stage for ALTO Design and w.illi.am/ is to develop the outer packaging for BU.
