Pergolas are usually a huge month-long outdoor project, but the new DIY aluminium pergola kits only took a fraction of that time. An Australian company, Outmos, released DIY aluminium pergola kits. They can be assembled in two days, perfect for a weekend activity. The pergola kits will arrive with a detailed guide – much like IKEA furnitures – complete with screws and bolts. Designed to be amateur-friendly, the pergola kits can be built with simple power tools and teamwork.
Once the pergola is erected and bolted to the ground, it can withstand gushing wind, rain, and heat – typical Australian weather. Each pergola kit also comes with louvre roof slats, connected to a motor that enables them to open and close at a button press. The roof can open fully or partially, depending on the day’s weather.
