Those who have an account with Singapore's DBS Bank or the OCBC Bank will soon have a new way to pay in store just by scanning a QR code.
Through the DBS PayLah! and OCBC Pay Anyone P2P payment platforms, customers will be able to easily make in-store payments with only their mobile devices. At the point of sale, shoppers will only be required to scan a QR code in order to complete their desired transactions at Nets terminals, which are used across the country by merchants across multiple industries in food, fashion and beyond.
With the rise of mobile shopping, many retailers are now experimenting with the use of mobile payment systems and digital wallets that will help consumers go completely cashless in the future.
