Miniature Gluten-Free Pastas

Senza's Lil Pastina Offers a Gluten-Free Take on a Tiny Pasta Shape

Pastina, meaning "little pasta" in Italian, has been reinvented by Senza with gluten-free consumers in mind. "We saw a void in the US market for gluten-free pastina when my sister was diagnosed with Celiac disease and knew we had to act on it," says Krista D’Archi, Co-Founder and CEO of Senza.

Pastina is the smallest type of pasta produced and in keeping with tradition—minus the gluten—Senza's first shape takes the form of a miniature star named Stelline.

Senza's pilot product line, Lil Pastina, is gathering support and funding on Kickstarter. As part of the campaign, backers can contribute to claim exclusive rewards like boxes of pasta, special-edition t-shirts and necklaces, or even a pasta party thrown by the co-founders.
