Hummii's new mini muffins put a healthier spin on a beloved childhood snack and they are not only plant-based and grain-free but also free from added sugar. The brand gets its name from a mashup of the words "healthy" and "yummy" and it references the brand's origins as a hummus-like frozen dessert.
These nourishing mini muffins were created with the expertise of Michelin-starred pastry chef Bethany Costello and they include ingredients like chickpea flour, golden flaxseeds, prebiotic fiber and monk fruit extract as a sweetener. Additionally, the mini muffins include upcycled fruit powders to create fun flavors for all ages such as blueberry, banana bread and double chocolate.
This summer, the brand launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in the hopes of raising the required funds to introduce more flavors, as well as expand products and production.
