Paramount+ Announces Date for Its UK and Ireland Release

Paramount+, the newly established streaming service owned by Paramount Global, is set to launch in Ireland and the United Kingdom on June 22nd.
According to Paramount’s President & CEO, Bob Bakish, Paramount+ has already acquired close to 40 million subscribers in markets where it has already launched. In addition, Paramount+ will be launched in South Korea in June, and the company plans to soon announce its release in other key European markets.
“Paramount is known for its leading portfolio of premium entertainment brands and a robust content engine that fuels our rapidly expanding streaming service, Paramount+. This year will be monumental for our streaming strategy as we accelerate our global ambitions, rapidly expanding Paramount+ in Europe beginning with the UK, Italy, Germany, France," said Raffaele Annecchino, President and CEO, International Networks, Studios and Streaming, Paramount Global.
