The Papergeometrix chair seems to address several wants and needs that people have at the current moment.
Minimalist aesthetic? Check. Geometric references? Check. Multiple purposes? Double check. All of this comes in a neat and stylish package, although without a nice little ribbon to wrap it all up in.
As though inspired by the origami art form, the Papergeometrix chair does look like it was folded out of paper. Strategic cutouts were left intact so as to allow of an artistic arrangement of books and other knick-knacks.
Created by Moscow-based industrial designer Maria Yasko, the Papergeometrix chair boasts strong lines and a stronger presence, despite its overall simple silhouette. It is this balance between the two that really makes the Papergeometrix chair stand out.
