Art and culture intersect at the release of Pantone's 2019 color of the year, which has been revealed to be "Living Coral.'
In the past, the colors of the year have been Rose Quartz, Greenery and Ultra Violet, representing the hues of 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively. The color experts at Pantone responsible for this shade defined the selection as "vibrant yet mellow" going on to say that Living Coral "embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment. representing the fusion of modern life, PANTONE living coral is a nurturing color that appears in our natural surroundings and at the same time, displays a lively presence within social media."
