These 'Missions of Palo Alto' Prints Promote the Bay Area City

San Fransisco-based artist Alex Varanese recently drew up a series of three-dimensional posters promoting one of the lesser-known cities of the Bay Area, Palo Alto.

As Varanese explains on his Behance page, the city is overshadowed by the cultural draw of San Fransisco, the hip hop scene of Oakland, the population of San Jose and its notoriously violent neighbor, East Palo Alto. Nonetheless, Palo Alto is where Stanford University makes its home. It is also where the Ethernet and GUI were born and is a nexus for tech-oriented venture capitalists.

It is with such positive qualities in mind that the posters Varanese made the posters. They communicate to the viewer that Palo Alto may be a small, even quaint city, but it packs a punch on a number of levels.
