The Palm Tree House Features a Full-Size Tree Growing Up from the Basement

— January 3, 2013 — Eco
In an effort to add a little green touch to the design, this palm tree house features a tree growing from the basement floor all the way to the top. The home is designed to blend the life of a tree with the everyday happenings of an average human family with the tree dominating a large portion of the space. The home is appointed quite minimally and focuses on only the essentials needed to live day-to-day like a basic kitchen and bathroom as well as a few open concept spaces for relaxation. The palm tree, although currently only a mere five feet tall, will be able to grow to full size without fears that it will become stunted because of a lack of space.
