Indigenous Furniture

Fiji is better known for its tourism than its design, so these designs from Pacific Green are a pleasant surprise. The 'Indigenous Masterpiece' furniture is inspired by the crafts and artifacts of traditional societies, but incorporates modern techniques for functional, comfortable products.

Each Pacific Green piece reflects elements from Pacific Islander, African and North American cultures. Natural, sustainable materials are used like wood, hides, grasses and gemstones. At the World Fair in Shanghai, Pacific Green represents the Pacific region in the Design category.
