Samantha Cristoforetti was so excited about her first mission to space, she decided to document her outer space adventure in pictures. Even before Cristoforetti's 200 day journey in space began, she started snapping photographs of her mission even during training.
Cristoforetti's work as an astronaut is matched by her amazing photography work. Cristoforetti was able to capture amazing images of outer space as well as stunning pictures of the Earth. One of her favorite places to photograph was her home country of Italy, allowing her unparalleled views of the boot-shaped country.
