The 2019 Toronto Outdoor Art Fair will be hosted in the heart of the city at Nathan Phillips Square, where it will run from July 12th until the 14th. The fair is family friendly and open to the public for no charge, and provides local artists and creators with a platform to showcase their work, whether it's through stunning installations, or engaging live performances.
The event will see the talent of over 360 renowned artists, who all follow this year's theme: 'Art: Unwalled.' The theme aims to prompt discussions about accessibility, and show the importance of making art available to all. There will also be a series of talks at the fair, with discussions exploring different aspects of the theme.
One standout exhibit comes from StreetARToronto, which will feature live graffiti painting by Elicser Elliott, Mes 3, Meaghan Claire Kehoe, Que Rock, Jenn Kitagawa, and Adrian Hayles -- in addition to projects by Indigenous artists.
