Illness-Detecting Smart Rings

Oura Symptom Radar Helps Users Detect Signs of Sickness

Oura Symptom Radar is arriving as a new feature from the wearable technology brand that will provide users with the ability to monitor their vitals and get insights into when they might be getting sick. The feature works by taking various metrics like resting heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate and temperature trends into account before providing insight into what their biometrics are signaling. This will come in the form of no signs, minor signs and major signs that relate to being free from illness, potentially getting sick and mostly likely ill, respectively.

Oura Symptom Radar will be available to all users of the brand's Oura Ring Gen 3 and the Oura Ring 4 starting December 9, 2024.
