Award Gown Cookies

Pattie Paige Created Cookie Copies of the Gowns Seen on the Oscar's Red Carpet

The 2016 Oscar's red carpet saw a lot of stunning gowns. With designer ensembles ranging from show-stopping Brandon Maxwell creations to red hot Dior dresses, this was one of the most stylish red carpets yet, and NYC baker Pattie Paige recreated some of the looks in the best way she knows how.

Making perfect cookie copies of the most stunning Oscar's gowns, Paige captured such beauties as Cate Blanchett's Armani Prive number as well as Alicia Vikander's custom Louis Vuitton dress. Creating these cookies the very night the Oscar Awards took place, Paige states the process took all night. With homemade sugar cookie dough ready and waiting while the stars walked the red carpet, she carved the dough into shapes by hand after seeing each dress.

The tiring process resulted in a line of Oscar worthy baked goods which she sells at her bakery.
