At Menotti’s Coffee Stop, an orange coffee beverage by the name of 'Caffe Rico' channels authentic flavors from Tahiti. Fresh ingredients like lemon zest and house-made vanilla syrup are used in the making of this espresso beverage. As far as the integrity of the drink, a close friend of the cafe owner often brings back bundles of Tahitian vanilla, which transforms the orange coffee beverage, cutting back on some of the sweetness found in comparable drinks.
The Caffe Rico is an off-menu item that takes inspiration from the Vivace Caffe Nico served at the Espresso Vivace in Seattle. The largest difference between these drinks is that the original is made from vanilla and orange syrups.
In terms of presentation, the coffee is served in a silver cup dusted with cinnamon, alongside a small spoon and orange garnish.
