Open AD is the brainpower behind Latvia's new Ziedlejas Spa and Wellness Resort in the town of Sigulda, Latvia. The spa features a cluster of Corten steel and glass cabins on a sloping site that overlooks a peaceful pond. The spa incorporates local sauna culture, boasting a contemporary design.
The resort features two independent steam rooms and three cabins, which guests can use for overnight stays. Open AD designed the cabin with corten-steel and glass to create a sense of balance between modern styles and traditional cozy cabins. The resort offers guests a subterranean Glass Sauna, dug into the hill, and the Smoke Room sauna that sits nearby a wooded area constructed from charred logs and a steel roof.
