Since October 2010, Android users have been able to download and use the Skype application, but without the video features. Sounds almost like any other social media application, right? But that problem has now been solved: the Android Skype application finally includes video calling -- a one-to-one video chat.
In addition to video chat, users can also make calls to landlines and mobiles around the world, as well as send texts to anyone, anywhere in the world at affordable Skype rates. A new mood message box at the top of the Skype app menu makes it easier than ever for users to share and update their current status.
A select few Android phones support this new feature, but there will be more to come shortly.
