AlfredCamera Allows Users to Turn Phones into Security Cameras

'AlfredCamera' is a free application that is available on iOS and Android app stores. This application is easy to set up and allows users with old smartphones to repurpose these phones into a more useful home security device. New users must simply download the application on their current phone and the old phone that they want to use as a camera and sign in with either Google or Apple accounts, meaning it is quick and easy to set up.
After downloading the application on both phones, simply place the old phone where you want a security camera to be and enable the function in the application. When viewing the application on your current phone you will be able to stream video from the other phone as well as click on a 'chat' button where you can enter into an immediate call with your other phone. Many modern security systems are very expensive, and while a camera and an audio recorder don't make an entire security system, this is an effective and affordable alternative for many home owners.
