Blå Station unveils two new chairs and a table to its roster starting with Johan Ansander's OM Chair. It is a lightweight seating solution with a slender seat and minimal build using molded plywood materials.
The CEO and design manager of Blå Station, Johan Lindau explains that “My aim was to offer a generous seating experience with very few components, and with the backrest as one visually open piece. I immediately signed Johannes on when he showed me his sketches a year ago, this was his private little secret, you would never arrive at something so striking through an ordinary product brief.” The second chair that follows is also made by Ansander and it is dubbed the Max chair complete with cushioned detail. The capsule is then rounded out by the Turn table, which is made from oak or ash.
