Olympic Wallpaper Designs

With the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro beginning this week, Murals Wallpaper's 'Athletics Collection' is offering consumers a way to remember the games all year round. The five wallpaper designs are minimalist depictions of some of the Summer Olympic Games' venues, including the pool, the track, the volleyball court, the velodrome and the long jump pit.

Reminiscent of Alex Colville's athletics mural, Murals Wallpaper's Athletics Collection employs neutral color tones, allowing the designs to move the eye more than the hues. That subtle, minimalist choice is well suited to wallpaper designs, since wallpaper can easily dominate a room otherwise. Despite the neutrality, though, the Athletics Collection offers intricate detail that will be sure get consumers daydreaming about Olympic Games athletes like Usain Bolt sprinting through their rooms.
