Rather than being made from a base of cream or milk, El Marques uses a patent pending process to make its creamy, spreadable olive oil butter. Because the original flavor is only made with one ingredient, olive oil, it tastes just like the distinctive oil, but has the texture of a lightly whipped butter. At room temperature, the mixture can even be spread over toast.
Just as there are numerous flavored olive oil products on the market, El Marques also carries varieties that are infused with other ingredients like tomato, garlic, herb and black truffle.
